On-site paper recycling and off-site confidential document shredding are also available. Document shredding is completed off-site by Share’s Inc.\, a certified confidential document shredding company. \nWood\, mattresses\, foam containers\, foam peanuts\, glass\, grease\, plastic\, and general trash are not accepted. Unaccepted items must be taken back by residents. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Indiana Kidney Walk returns to Conner Prairie\, where you can enjoy the historic grounds after hours! The walk can be a full 5k\, with a portion on the Prairie Trail\, a fully paved walking path\, and the remaining mile through PrairieTown! \nThe Kidney Walk\, held in nearly 70 communities across the country\, is the nation’s largest walk to fight kidney disease and a signature community fundraiser for the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana (NKFI) that provides an opportunity for families affected by kidney disease to join together in hope and solidarity. Funds raised through participant support allow the NKFI to launch public education and awareness campaigns that shine a bright light on kidney disease\, a national public health crisis affecting an estimated 37 million Americans\, particularly among communities of color. We walk for patients\, families\, and people at risk. At the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana\, people are our mission. Kidney disease is a personal and financial burden for millions—and many times it’s preventable. We’re here to improve\, extend\, and save lives.
