The classes are taught by local volunteers certified by LifeWise. The program operates under three guiding principles: off school property\, parent permitted and privately funded. To bring this important character building education to more students\, we are hosting the 2nd Annual LifeWise HSE Golf Outing. \nLifeWise creates intentional space for students to hear biblical truth\, build character\, and be reminded that they are loved\, known\, and created with purpose. Support from our golf outing will directly strengthen the Hamilton Southeastern school district community. Our day on the course is all about investing in the next generation.

DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, August 11 | noon – 1 p.m. | Virtual | Free  \nFinding Hope: Guidance for Supporting Those at Risk is a 75-minute presentation that provides in-depth\, practical information for those supporting someone with lived experience. In the context of this program\, “lived experience” refers to individuals who have made a suicide attempt and/or experience suicidal thoughts. This program offers education and resources on the process of recovery after a suicidal crisis\, warning signs to look out for\, planning for safety\, and crisis response. It also addresses the different treatment levels in the realm of mental health\, and how participants can practice self-care as they support someone in their lives at risk for suicide.
