Each participant/family will get to take home a small kit that includes a disposable cup\, nutrient solution\, growing medium\, and seed. \nThis is a free program. No registration required. DESCRIPTION:A Dementia Friends Indiana representative will help attendees understand and appreciate the perspective of someone living with dementia and learn skills for more effective communication. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nDementia Friends Indiana sessions are a brief but very impactful way of learning about dementia\, understanding and appreciating the perspective of someone living with dementia\, and having the knowledge you need to better communicate and interact with those living with the disease and their caregivers. Attendees will also learn actions they can take to advance the DFI movement and mission to create better understanding and awareness of dementia\, reduce the associated stigma\, and create more welcoming\, safe\, and conducive community environments for those living with the disease. \nUpon completion of this session\, attendees will be registered as a Dementia Friend in Indiana. DESCRIPTION:Intro to 3D Modeling\n\n5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday\, March 20\, 2026\nMaker Playground (8100 E. 106th Street\, Fishers)\n$20 per person ($30 non-Fishers residents)\nAges 16+\n\nThis beginner-friendly class introduces two popular 3D modeling tools used at Maker Playground: Tinkercad and SketchUp Free. Participants will learn when and why to use each platform\, with hands-on time focused on real projects. \nThe first half of the class covers Tinkercad for simple\, functional 3D prints such as boxes\, organizers\, and small parts. The second half focuses on SketchUp Free for furniture-style design\, proportions\, and layout. \nFor many participants\, this class will be all they need to confidently work in 3D. It provides the practical tools to create simple 3D prints as well as layouts and models using Tinkercad and SketchUp Free. While this class does not aim to make participants experts in either platform\, it gives them enough hands-on experience to continue practicing on their own and begin completing real projects right away. DESCRIPTION:Join Fishers Parks in collaboration with the Fishers Health Department for  Open Gym\, running from 1 to 5 p.m. every Sunday through March at Fishers Junior High School (13257 Cumberland Road\, Fishers\, IN 46038\, Athletic Entrance\, Door 12\, North parking lot). \nThese free sessions are open to all Fishers residents and are designed to bring families and friends together to stay active and connected with pickup basketball\, pickleball\, and other fun ways to move and play. \n\nAll participants will have to sign a liability waiver before entering the gym. Only an adult or guardian 18 years of age or older can sign a liability waiver for a minor. Please the sign the waiver here. Once the waiver is complete\, participants are asked to sign-in with their arrival time\, and sign-out when they intend to leave to ensure all participants have left the building when Open Gym has commenced.\n\nOpen Gym is community-focused and intended for recreational play rather than organized team practices.
