Action Items

Key Dates

  • Weeks of Dec. 30 & Jan. 6: Existing Republic customers who DO NOT currently have recycling services will receive recycle.
  • Week of Jan. 13: Republic citywide residential service begins

Bins

Current Republic customers will NOT receive new trash bins, unless they currently do not have recycling services. Current Republic customers without recycling service will receive 1 recycling bin for the first day of service.

Additional Bin Requests

Additional bins and bin modifications may be requested following service start date. Three (3) total bins are included in city contract at no additional cost to the resident. Bin requests beyond the 3 included in the contract are available at additional cost to resident. See the FAQ below for more information on bins.

Note: While 3 total bins are included in the trash contract, Republic’s initial priority is to ensure every resident has at least 1 trash and 1 recycle bin for the first day of service.

Current Republic Account & Billing

Current Republic customers will not need to transition current account or billing. Republic will sunset your accounts and stop billing on current services, prior to the city contract start date.Add your page content…
