  • Week of Jan. 6: Leave Waste Management bins by the curb after your Waste Management trash collection day for pick up.

Key Dates

  • Weeks of Dec. 30 & Jan. 6: Bin delivery to new Republic customers (1 trash & 1 recycling bin)
  • Week of Jan. 6: Waste Management final trash pickup and bin collection *Please leave bins out after date of service for pick up.
  • Week of Jan. 10: Waste Management’s final day of service for single-family residential
  • Week of Jan. 13: Republic citywide residential service begins

Final Week of Service for WM Customers: Week of January 6, 2025

  • Waste Management will collect all Waste Management bins from existing customers the week of January 6, 2025, after your final trash pickup.
  • Please leave your bins by the curb following your last Waste Management trash collection day on the week of January 6th.
  • Waste Management’s last day of service in Fishers will be January 10, 2025.

Current WM Account & Billing

NO action needs to be taken by existing WM customers to cancel service. WM will deactivate existing accounts (including HOA accounts) prior to the Republic’s service start date. Cancellation fees and bin pickup fees will not be issued by WM. WM will be sending out information to existing single family residential customers, confirming this transition.

Bins & Bin Modification Requests

WM customers will receive 1 waste bin and 1 recycle bin for the start of service. Following service start date, residents may request additional bins. Three (3) total bins are included in city contract at no additional cost to the resident. Bin requests beyond the 3 included in the contract are available at additional cost to resident.
