MIG Welding Basics

This class will cover the basic concepts and safety procedures of MIG welding. Students will learn about safe welding practices, basic operation of our multi-function welders, and using basic MIG techniques to weld steel. Classes 1 & 2 will focus mainly on safe attire and equipment practices prior to welding, and 3,4, and 5 will focus on practicing welding techniques and completing a simple coupon test. By the end of this class, students will be able to safely complete basic welds using MIG welding.
When: 5 to 8 p.m. every day, August 4-8
Where: Maker Playground (8100 E. 106th Street, Fishers)
Ages: 16+
Cost: $100 Fishers residents ($150 non-residents)
