Fishers AgriPark Now Open Year-Round!

The Fishers AgriPark, strengthened by IU Health, is now open year-round! The 33-acre urban farm and one of our community’s most unique assets features free u-pick opportunities in the public fields and gardens, animal encounters, a play space, special programming, and more. New enhancements in 2025 include indoor restrooms, a new playground, classroom and programming space, and a country store featuring products from local vendors, set to open later this year. The City is also in the early phases of developing a second AgriPark to bring the urban farm experience to West Fishers. Learn more at FishersAgriPark.com.

Fishers Farmers Market Open for the Season this Saturday

Saturdays through September 27 | 8 a.m. – noon | Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Drive) | Free  

The Fishers Farmers Market, Presented by IU Health, is now open for the summer season at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater in downtown Fishers! The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday through September and features more than 90 vendors, specializing in all things food and plants for you and your home. The Fishers Farmers Market is one of the only dog-friendly markets in the Indianapolis metro and ranked 6th in the state by the American Farmland Trust: Farmers Market Coalition. Touch-a-Truck Returns on Monday, May 19!

Kids can explore Fishers’ fleet of big rigs, including tractors, snowplows, police cars, and fire trucks at the free Touch-A-Truck event on Monday, May 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Drive).

Enjoy live demonstrations from Fishers Department of Public Works, Fishers Health Department, Fishers Fire Department, and the Fishers Police Department, including K-9 demos as well as kids’ activities from Fishers Parks and food vendors.

IMPORTANT: For your child to participate in the inflatables area, you MUST register for a wristband before the day of the event HERE. Wristbands must be picked up between 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 16, at the Fishers Parks HQ (8100 E. 106th Street, Suite 150).

Geist Waterfront Park Beach Season Begins this Month

Beach season opens at Geist Waterfront Park (10811 Olio Road) on Saturday, May 24 from noon to 8 p.m. Regular beach hours will be 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. through Labor Day (September 1).

The 70-acre waterfront park in east Fishers features beach and water access to Geist Reservoir, non-motorized boat launch and dock access for kayaks and canoes, walking trails, playground, and public gathering amenities. Beach access is open seasonally from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. Memorial Day Ceremony

Join the City of Fishers on Monday, May 26 at 10 a.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater to honor the service men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom at this special ceremony. After the ceremony, take a walk around the Central Green and Nickel Plate District Amphitheater to view the light pole banners honoring local veterans and active duty service members in the Fishers community. You can also honor a hero by purchasing an Engraved Brick Paver, which will become a permanent addition to the Liberty Plaza walkway. Learn more at FishersIN.gov/FishersHonors.

The Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (NPD AMP) and MOKB Presents announced some of the ticketed shows for this summer’s annual concert series:

Yoga on the Beach

Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m. and Wednesday, May 28 at 7 p.m. | Geist Waterfront Park

Fishers Parks is again hosting its free yoga series on the beach at Geist Waterfront Park through the summer 2025 season! Yoga on the Beach is free, and no registration is required. Each class is one hour. Ages 13+ only. Participants must bring their own yoga mat. Learn more.

Free Fishing Day

Sunday, May 4 | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Flat Fork Creek Park (16141 E. 101st Street)

Join us for a day of fishing at the stocked Flat Fork Creek Park ponds anytime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday, May 4. This activity is free. No registration is required, and all are welcome. Learn more.

Forest Bathing with Fishers Parks

Monday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tuesday, June 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. | Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve (10410 Hague Road) | Cost per session is $36 ($54 non-residents)

Forest Bathing is a practice of nature immersion, elevating sensory observations in the present moment. Participants “bathe” in the sights, sounds, textures, and scents they encounter while on an intentionally slow, guided outing. Your certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide will facilitate your experience through a series of invitations to promote nature connection. Learn more.

Spark!Fishers

Free Concert + Drone Show
Tuesday, June 24, 8 PM | NPD AMP | Free

Kick of Spark!Fishers week with a free concert at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the NPD AMP, followed by the return of the Spark!Fishers drone show! Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy the evening. Food & drink trucks will be on site. No tickets required. Entertainment TBA.

5K Race + All Abilities 1 Miler

Wednesday, June 25, 6 PM | NPD AMP
Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the Spark!Fishers 5K and All Abilities 1-Miler, returning to downtown Fishers on Wednesday, June 25.

As part of the festival week, this community event, hosted by Fishers Parks and presented by IU Health Fishers, features a competitive 5K race, an untimed 1-Miler for all abilities, and an exciting post-race celebration at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater!

All ages and abilities are welcome. The event is ADA-, family-, and stroller-friendly, but pets are not permitted. Service animals are always welcome at all Fishers Parks events. Register here.

The Spark!Fishers Car + Art Show showcases vintage and classic cars and local, professional art and artists.

Our free, annual Friday night Spark!Fishers concert will begin on the NPD AMP stage at 8 p.m. June 27, followed by the annual Spark!Fishers Fireworks Show! Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Food and drink trucks will be on site. No tickets required. Entertainment TBA.

Street Fair + Parade

The annual Spark!Fishers Street Fair will return to the Nickel Plate District from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 28, showcasing vendors, local businesses and organizations, artists and artisans! Learn more.
