Fishers Blues Fest returns to the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (6 Municipal Drive) this Labor Day weekend, led by acclaimed vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Judith Hill and Grammy-nominated musician Jontavious Willis.
The free, all-ages festival takes place Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6. Now in its 14th year, Blues Fest brings together eight artists, including award-winning rising talents Dylan Triplett and Mathias Lattin, regional favorites and veteran performers for two nights of blues, soul, funk and more.
“What makes Blues Fest special is the range of artists audiences can discover in one weekend, from internationally recognized musicians to emerging talent,” said Marissa Deckert, Director of Fishers Parks. “Keeping the festival free gives everyone the opportunity to experience great live music right here in downtown Fishers.”

Saturday, September 5:
Mojo Gumbo Band | 5 – 5:45 p.m.
Indianapolis-based Mojo Gumbo Band kicks off the weekend with Mississippi-style blues mixed with Creole and Cajun influences.
JR Clark Band | 6 – 7 p.m.
With more than 11 album releases, JR Clark Band brings a Chicago blues sound shaped by Clark’s mentorship under Lil’ Ed Williams of Lil’ Ed and The Blues Imperials.
Dylan Triplett | 7:15 – 8:15 p.m.
2023 Blues Award winner Dylan Triplett brings soulful vocals and a contemporary edge to classic blues influences.
Judith Hill | 8:30 – 10 p.m.
Vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Judith Hill has worked with Prince, Michael Jackson and Elton John while building a solo career blending blues, soul, funk and rock. Her catalog includes the Prince-produced Back in Time and her latest album, Letters from a Black Widow.
Sunday, September 6:
The Blues Brothers Triumphant Tribute | 5 – 5:45 p.m.
The Blues Brothers Triumphant Tribute opens Sunday with Jake and Elwood, a live blues band and a high-energy tribute to the iconic duo.
King Bee + The Stingers | 6 – 7 p.m.
Regional favorite King Bee + The Stingers blends original music, roadhouse funk and soul with fresh takes on blues classics.
Mathias Lattin | 7:15 – 8:15 p.m.
Mathias Lattin won both the 2023 International Blues Challenge and Best Guitarist honors at age 20, establishing the Houston artist as one of the genre’s rising talents.
Jontavious Willis | 8:30 – 10 p.m.
Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter Jontavious Willis closes the festival with original music rooted in his Georgia heritage and the traditions of Delta, Piedmont, Texas and Gospel blues.
Admission is free, and no tickets are required. Gates open at 4 p.m. each day, with performances beginning at 5 p.m. Lawn space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Food, beverages and alcohol will be available for purchase. Guests may bring chairs, blankets, outside food and non-alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol is prohibited.
Free street and garage parking is available throughout the Nickel Plate District. Accessible parking will be available at the south City Services Building parking lot (3 Municipal Drive).
