Local Business Spotlight: Jet Access

Jet Access, a full-service aviation management company, has landed in Fishers! In late 2023, Jet Access selected Fishers as the location of its first-ever national headquarters, opting to prioritize proximity to airports and a location where its roughly 400 employees could live and work.

President and CEO Quinn Ricker, known for his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership style that puts people first, noticed that the new generation of young, vibrant and energetic business owners and executives were heading to Fishers and knew he wanted Jet Access to be a part of it.

Jet Access is unique in the industry because of its strategy to include all five business aviation verticals together, including flight training, charter management, brokerage, maintenance and fixed-base operators (FBOs), which had never been done before.

As the new HQ has opened its doors and employees are often in the office, Ricker and his team of highly experienced, qualified, knowledgeable, and results-oriented professionals feed off each other’s energy, build relationships and accomplish more than they could working remotely from different locations around the U.S.

“This community and this office have been of absolute strategic importance for us,” said Ricker. “We could not move fast enough, being spread out all over the country. There were too many texts, too many emails, too many Teams meetings, too many calls. And there wasn’t trust among our group when it came to issues like a logistics challenge or a maintenance challenge with an aircraft. You really need to trust these people because we’re dealing with some very complex things. Now we build relationships. I feel like we are moving literally five times as fast as an enterprise being able to be here in Fishers.”

Many employees moved to Fishers from places like Palm Beach, Florida, accelerating the growth of Jet Access and opening new opportunities for a young generation of talent who might have otherwise not known about opportunities in the aviation industry. As far as what’s next for the company, Ricker says they’re grounded in Fishers for the long haul to continue growing their business and establishing themselves in the community – and enjoying Fishers favorites like H.C. Tavern and 1933 Lounge.
