Fishers Health Department Your Health Your Way Summer life skills series for teens + young adults

Wednesday, June 17 | 2:30 – 4 p.m. | Fishers Community Center Community Room | Free   

This session breaks down what stress is, how it shows up, and what you can do to manage it. You’ll talk about common signs of stress and learn the difference between coping strategies that help you handle emotions and ones that help you solve problems. We’ll also cover how to build up your stress coping toolbox and recognize when it’s time to reach out for help. Stress, mental health, alcohol, and substances are real topics that deserve a real conversation. Your Health, Your Way is a no-judgment space where you can pick up practical skills for everyday life, minus the cringe.  Sessions are specifically for 16-23 year olds, and participants under the age of 18 must submit a signed consent form prior to the start of the session.
