General Tours are offered at 10:00 AM and may last up to 1.5 hours. Availability is limited and subject to confirmation.

Registration for each tour date will close either 2 weeks prior to the scheduled tour date or once maximum capacity for the tour has been reached.

Fishers Private School & Homeschool Study Trip

The Fishers Municipal Study Trip is a long-standing program provided to 3rd grade classes in the HSE School District. Beginning in Spring 2026, the City will offer a similar experience for Fishers private schools and homeschool students.

Fishers private school educators and Fishers families who homeschool are welcome to register their student(s) in grades 3–6, to take part in a Fishers Municipal Study Trip.

The study trip includes:

  • Meet & Greet with Mayor Fadness & Deputy Mayor Hultgren
  • Mock City Council Experience
  • Educational Presentations from: Fishers Police, Fire, Public Work, City Court Judge, & Health Department!

Availability is limited and subject to confirmation.

2026 Field Trip Dates

Fall

  • Friday, August 21
    • 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Scouting Field Trip

The City of Fishers offers opportunities for Girl Scout and Scout of America troops to earn their badges related to local government, first aid, and public safety.

Spring 2026 Dates:

    • Girl Scouts: Wednesday, March 11
    • Scouts of America: Wednesday, March 18
      • 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
      • Registration Closes March 16 or when capacity is reached.

    Fall 2026 Dates:

    • Scouts of America: Tuesday, October 6, 2026
      • 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
      • Registration Closes October 2 or when capacity is reached.
    • Girl Scouts: Tuesday, October 13, 2026
      • 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
      • Registration Closes October 9 or when capacity is reached.
