About the Geist Half Race Series

Operated by the City of Fishers in partnership with Vision Events Management, the race showcases the beauty of Geist Reservoir with stunning water views, tree covered trails, and waterfront bridges. The Geist Half Marathon race series offers a 5K (3.1 miles), 10K (6.2 miles), and a Half Marathon (21.0975km or 13.1 miles). Geist Half Marathon is locally known for its challenging course with hills around every corner, and bridges featuring some of Indiana’s most scenic views.

The 17th annual Geist Half Marathon race series has officially wrapped up for 2025. Congratulations to all participants! Stay tuned for details on 2026’s race date! Subscribe to our emails for updates.

2026 Race Ambassadors Wanted!

We’re looking for an enthusiastic group of Ambassadors to help promote the Geist Half Race Series via social media and at local races and community events. Ambassador applications are open through January 30.

Packet Pick-Up

Friday, September 12 from 11 AM to 8 PM

Grace Church (12450 Olio Road)

Please bring the QR code in your participant email to packet pick-up. You can print it or show on your phone. If you are picking up for a friend, please bring their QR code also!

Note: All race packets MUST be picked up on 9/12/25 unless you paid for the race day WILL CALL pick-up. No packets will be sent out via mail.

2025 Medals and Race T-shirt

The 2025 medals and race shirt feature the iconic scenery and bridges of Geist Reservoir on a cozy, cotton tee! This design was created by Fishers resident and high school senior, Laila Lewis, and received an overwhelming number of votes during our Community Art Contest.

Become a Pacer!

Interested in becoming a pacer for the Geist Half Marathon, 10K and 5K? Please apply here. Pacing is a volunteer position that if selected, pacers will receive FREE race registration for the Half Marathon and an exclusive singlet or shirt to be worn during the race. We ask that you also be aware we’d like to schedule a virtual meeting to review pacing responsibilities and conduct prior to race day.
