The City of Fishers hosts free City Recycling Days in the spring and fall, where residents can recycle electronics, household items, and household hazardous wastes. On-site paper recycling and off-site confidential document shredding are also available. Document shredding is completed off-site by Share’s Inc., a certified confidential document shredding company.
On April 8, from approximately 2 to 4:30 p.m., Hamilton County will experience the Total Solar Eclipse, with totality at 3:06 p.m. and lasting three minutes and thirty seconds in Fishers. The Fishers Town Hall Building Corporation was established on November 30, 1989, as a nonprofit corporation operating pursuant to the provisions of the Indiana Nonprofit Ace of 1991, as amended, Indiana Code 23-17, or the purpose, among others, of the financing and leasing of buildings and other capital improvements in the City of Fishers, Indiana.
