For Recovery Force Health’s Matthew Wyatt, Founder and CEO, and Jason Bobay, President, choosing Fishers as the location for the company was easy — Fishers was home to each of them, and they knew that establishing and growing the company in this community would mean continual support from Mayor Scott Fadness and surrounding hospitals.
“We love everything about Fishers, and it’s a great tech community,” said Bobay.
Recovery Force Health’s journey began in 2013 when Wyatt watched his father struggle with an outdated pneumatic compression device after having bilateral knee surgery, knowing there could be a risk of life-threatening blood clots. His solution? Developing an updated, user-friendly and safe care compression device.
Today, Recovery Force Health is an all-encompassing digital health company focused on the application of data-driven solutions through wearable medical technology. From hospital to home, Recovery Force Health understands the ever-evolving nature of healthcare, how to best integrate innovation
throughout the continuum of care, and how to alleviate unnecessary barriers for healthcare professionals.
“I just think some of the flexibility to create a really innovative product with a dynamic team has been the most exciting part of working in Fishers,” said Bobay. “And the achievement that we actually accomplished — we did this during COVID. We’re proud that our flagship product was launched during COVID.”
Mayor Fadness and the Fishers’ economic development team have been supportive throughout the company’s journey. From Recovery Force Health’s beginnings in the basement of a library (not too long ago!) to Launch Fishers, the team has received steadfast support.
“We can’t thank Fishers enough,” said Bobay. “We’ve had strategic companies come here and they talk about how great this community is and how beautiful it is. And we take it for granted sometimes living here and doing business here, but it never fails. When we go to the Fishers District and take people out to have a bite to eat, we get so many compliments about the City of Fishers, and I think that’s a big deal for us. We want people to see how great this community is, and how vibrant and the technology that’s coming out of here. Fishers presents well. They do a great job, and we couldn’t be happier here!”
