Effective July 1, 2024, a new policy is in effect requiring property owners to initiate and act as the account holder for any new sewer utility service at a tenant address, regardless of tenant agreements. 

Fishers Utilities staff will begin transferring sewer utility accounts to property owners by October 14th, 2024. 

A copy of the approved resolution enacting this policy change can be accessed here. Changes to this policy will allow Fishers Utilities to better service customers, provide efficient billing and communication services to customers, and prepare internal systems for future additional utility billing such as waste removal.
