Fishers Farmers Market Open for the Season

Rated one of the top farmers markets in the region, the Fishers Farmers Market showcases vendors from Central Indiana offering fresh produce, baked goods, honey, specialty food items, meats, coffee, plants, and more. Learn more.

Fishers Touch-a-Truck

Kids can explore Fishers’ fleet of big rigs, including tractors, snowplows, police cars, and fire trucks at the free Touch-A-Truck event on Tuesday, May 21 from 4:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater.

Enjoy live demonstrations from Fishers Department of Public Works, Fishers Health Department, Fishers Fire Department, and the Fishers Police Department, including K-9 exercises and road paving, as well as kids’ activities from Fishers Parks and food vendors.

Gear Up for the Indy 500 with a Porch Party!

Along with cheering on Andretti Global, Fishers’ home IndyCar team, we’re excited to partner with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during the month of May to bring iconic Porch Parties to Fishers. 

Fishers residents are encouraged to host fun, racing-themed Porch Parties and show your community spirit by decorating your front porch or lawn for the race and adding your home to the official PorchParty Map.

Geist Waterfront Park Opens for Swim Season

Geist Waterfront Park kicks off the 2024 swim season on Saturday, May 25! The 70-acre waterfront park in east Fishers features beach and water access to Geist Reservoir, non-motorized boat launch and dock access for kayaks and canoes, walking trails, playground, and public gathering amenities.  

Cul-de-sac Drills with Fishers Fire Department 

The Fishers Fire & Emergency Services Department returns to the cul-de-sacs beginning in late May for neighborhoods to meet their local firefighters. Kids will have a chance to handle the hose line, run through the spray, and more. Details at
