Creek Stomping – Flat Fork Creek Park
One great educational activity for kids of all ages is “creek stomping” which is exactly what it sounds like! Kids of all ages can wander through Flat Fork Creek, free to splash and stomp through the water. There are so many opportunities for discovery – including plants, creatures or stones. If going creek stomping, make sure to bring your water shoes and a taste for adventure. For a map of the park, be sure to check FishersParks.com/FlatFork.
Kayaking Along the White River or at Geist Waterfront Park
If you’re looking to get out on the water, try kayaking along the White River or at Geist Waterfront Park. Kayaks are available at both locations for rent. White River does half-day or whole-day rentals, while Geist Waterfront Park allows rentals by the hour. Whether you’re a kayaking expert or a first-timer, this is a great activity for the whole family! Visit whiterivercanoe.com for more details.
