The new Fishers Art Center, located in the Fishers Municipal Center at 1 Municipal Drive, is open to the public! The center offers art classes for all experience levels and ages. From family classes to impressionism painting, these classes offer a unique experience and a way to use your creative side! Here’s a sneak peek at some classes offered this fall.
Realism to Impressionism Painting
Tuesdays, October 15 – November 26 | 12:30 – 3:30 p.m. | $369 | Ages 18+
This all-levels class allows artists to explore different painting techniques like realism and impressionism. Painters will have the opportunity to work with oil or acrylic, and focus on landscapes, cityscapes, and interiors. Sign up and explore these painting techniques!
Make It Take It: Hand-built Planters
Saturday, November 9 | 7-9 p.m.| $56| 18+
If looking for a fun day out, take a Make It Take It class at Fishers! This one-time class allows artists to create a hand-built planter, customizable for any home or garden. Along with building a planter, artists will have the opportunity to learn the basics of clay hand building.
Around the World Art Class
Saturdays, September 28 – October 19 | 9:30- 11:30 a.m. | $54 | Children ages 4-8 are welcome with an adult
Involve the whole family in this Around the World Art Class! Learn about different places around the world. This class will create a new appreciation for different cultures and allow families to learn through hands-on lessons.
Digital Art
Saturdays, October 19 – December 7 | 1 – 2:30 p.m. | $164 | Ages 10 – 14
Calling all little artists! This digital art class for shows kids how to use iPads to create individual masterpieces. Students will learn programs like Procreate or Adobe Creative Cloud to dive into the world of digital art that they can carry with them in today’s modern world. Pottery Classes

If you’re wanting to get behind the potter’s wheel, start with Beginning Wheel Throwing! This class will help those brand new to pottery or those who want to improve their skills. Get behind the potter’s wheel this fall!
Ceramic Sculpture
Thursdays, August 22 – December 5. |6 – 9 p.m. | $659 | 18+
Learn different clay techniques to create your own sculpture! Students get to plan and carry out guided projects as well as their own personal project ideas. Learn the solid, pinch, coil and slab techniques, and so much more. Start your sculpture today!
Make It Take It: Paint Your Pet

If you want to make a portrait of your beloved pet, sign up for Paint Your Pet Make It Take It! Fishers Make It Take It courses allow artists to make their whole project during the class. A one-time course, students will be guided through painting a custom pet portrait.
