Fishers DPW’s facility maintenance staff are dedicated to the care, maintenance, and improvements of all city-owned buildings.

The DPW team also keeps all our buildings safe and operational for employees, guests, and visitors. Working two shifts, this group is responsible for:

  • General and advanced maintenance of all city buildings and utilities
  • Preventative maintenance of all mechanical, HVAC, and other facility equipment
  • Building improvement projects
  • Project management of large-scale building improvement projects or major maintenance projects
  • Management of building cleaning and sanitation
  • Coordination of office furniture movement and maintenance
  • Street light maintenance of all city-owned lighting
  • Snow and ice control
