DMC Insurance, based in Fishers, insures some of the largest trucking companies in the country. The company’s executive leadership team averages over 30 years of insurance experience, specifically within the commercial transportation industry. At the helm is Joe DeVito, Chief Executive Officer of DMC Insurance.
The company’s name was created from the first letter of each of the last names of the three founders, Joe DeVito, Gary Miller and Pat Corydon. Each of them was over 65 years old when they started DMC in 2016, and they’ve been incredibly pleased with the rate of growth of the company.
DMC Insurance has been proud to call Fishers home ever since having an initial meeting with Mayor Scott Fadness and Megan Baumgartner, Director of Economic and Community Development for the City of Fishers. The DMC team was sold on having their company in Fishers from day one.

“From the bottom of my heart, I think Mayor Fadness is the best mayor in the country,” said DeVito. “ I would say one of the best things about Scott is his curiosity. When you’re around him, he asks questions. He asks people what they do, how they do it, how they define success. And you know, that’s a terrific quality to have.”
