Registration for Fall 2026 Opening June 15

Registration for the Fall 2026 Session of the Fishers City Government Academy will open on Monday, June 15 at 2 p.m. The FL26 session will run from August 12 through December 9. Please see below for program requirements and schedule and check back on or after June 15 to apply.

Registration Requirements

Must be a Fishers resident ages 18+
To receive a completion certificate and invitation to the final graduation lunch with the Mayor and Deputy Mayor each participant must complete the following:
- Must attend at least seven of the nine program sessions.
- Must participate in 2+ hours of a group or individual volunteer activity. You may volunteer at your favorite organization or find opportunities to serve at over 100+ local nonprofit or city-sponsored events at volunteerfishers.com.
- Must attend at least one City of Fishers board, commission, or City Council public meeting.
