Celebrate Champions in Fishers: Recognizing Excellence in Academics and Athletics

The City of Fishers proudly presents an exclusive opportunity for our high school heroes! The High School State Championship Recognition Program is the city’s way of applauding the extraordinary achievements of students, staff, and schools in our community, fostering civic pride, and inspiring future generations.

Celebrate your State Championship victory with personalized Light Pole Banners! These 24” x 30” banners will feature the champion’s photo, name, school, and championship details. Displayed along Central Green in front of City Hall, these banners are a testament to your hard work and success. For those who prefer privacy, we offer text-only banners.

The banners will be showcased for approximately four weeks. The exact duration and installation timeline will be communicated with the respective school/team.

  • Be a registered and recognized member of the team or club at a high school based in Fishers
  • Be an individual or a member of a team or club that wins a State Championship as recognized by IHSAA or an equivalent academic organization.
  • Complete the required forms providing the final championship roster, photo(s) of the student(s), and parent/guardian permission.

How to Participate

School officials can complete the School Notification Form upon a state championship win. We require a team roster, photos, and parent permission for participants under 18. After the display period, banners can be collected as souvenirs or for school displays.

State Champions will also be invited to a City Council meeting for a special recognition ceremony, complete with a photo opportunity at your banner.
