Save the Date: Safety Day

Join Fishers Fire Department for Safety Day on Saturday, September 6 from 8:00 a.m. to noon, in conjunction with the Fishers Farmers Market. This free event features live entertainment, hands-on activities like a bicycle rodeo and fire safety lessons, and a new exhibit from the Fishers Health Department to help parents and guardians identify vapes in teen bedrooms. Enjoy performances by local school choirs and the Kasey Program: Fire & Life Safety Dog. Around 50 vendors will provide safety information and resources. All residents are welcome for a day of learning, fun, and community engagement.

The Nickel Plate District Amphitheater (NPD AMP) and MOKB Presents announced the ticketed shows for this summer’s annual concert series:

Fishers Farmers Market, Presented by IU Health

The Fishers Farmers Market, Presented by IU Health, is at the NPD in the heart of Fishers’ downtown Nickel Plate District every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. One of the only dog-friendly markets in the Indianapolis metro, the Fishers Farmers Market runs every Saturday morning through September and features more than 90 vendors from around Indiana. Fishers Parks’ Annual Blues Fest

Last Chance to Apply for City Government Academy

Fishers residents can go behind the scenes of local government and hear from staff, tour City facilities and engage in the collaborative city governing process in the City of Fishers’ City Government Academy (CGA). At the end of the 3-month course, participants will have a greater understanding of how the Fishers government works. The academy is free and open to Fishers residents who are ages 18+.
